Wuthering winds
Blustering its way all through,
Picking up things as it moves,
“Take with thou, my bits of pain,”
Seeing the wind, heart shouted in vain.
Here, there, everywhere you go
Wish I’d be you, not possible though!
Just as you wear away solid rocks,
Sweep away my memories that are faux.
As you flow across distances and borders,
Take notice of a soul like me that saunters.
Deep down my heart, there are plenty scars,
If only they could cling to you, to travel afar!
Roaring your way through every mile,
You never halt, even if it’s for a while.
“Take me with you”, I told the wind
No response—maybe someday I would win!
